Gogglebox’s Shaun Ryder to star in new E4 celebrity cooking show

Gogglebox star Shaun Ryder is set to appear in E4’s new celebrity cooking contest.

The Happy Monday frontman will take on nine other stars who are all self-proclaimed “horrible” home cooks.

To be crowned “best in class” at the end of the series, they will need to master their cooking techniques and skills along the way.

Shaun will feature in the eight-part series alongside the Made in Chelsea star Sam Thompson, TV personality Kerry Katona and Love Island finalist Toby Aromolaran.

We will also see Stevo The Madman, Zeze Millz, Laura Tott, Maeva D’Ascanio, Paul Chowdhry and Kim Woodburn are in the game.

The all-new culinary feast, which will air on E4 later this year, will be hosted by radio and TV presenter Melvin Odoom

Celebrity Roster Revealed for E4’s Celebrity Cooking School

Michelin star chef, Giorgio Locatelli believes he can teach anyone to cook and takes it upon himself to try and train all 10 participating celebrities.

Not only will he teach them along the way how to create and present world-class recipes, but he will also have the final say on who stays and who goes.

Giorgio will not be alone on the series as a Tik Tok star and trained michelin chief Poppy O’Toole will be there to help.

A description of the show reads: “All most celebrities will know about food to start is how to order it. But working solo and in pairs, a crash course in cooking will make them sweat. in the kitchen.

“As they hilariously tackle a series of intricate culinary challenges far beyond their abilities, leading to chaos in the kitchen.”

Whether it’s epic failures, culinary disasters or perfect plates, will our celebrities rise to the top of the class or say “Pasta La Vista, Baby” to the competition?

Celebrity Cooking School (a working title name) is coming to E4 and All 4 later in 2022.
