Indigenous cooking show at Six Nations

By Victoria Gray Writer Moosemeat and Marmalade celebrates the culture, artists and traditional foods of the Six Nations Haudenosaunee. Moosemeat and Marmalade is Canada’s longest running current cooking show. This is an APTN show co-hosted by Cree Bush Cook, Art Napoleon and British chef Dan Hayes to explore and compare Indigenous and European culture and cuisine. Napoleon and producer Priyanka Desai came to the General Council meeting of the Six Nations Council of Elect on April 13 to request permission to film and fish in the territory from May 2 to May 10 to film an episode of his seventh season. “Six Nations is one of the largest communities in Canada,” he said.
