Top Chef will film the final season of an award-winning cooking show in London

Bravo’s Emmy-winning series Excellent chef goes international for the very first time in its upcoming 20th season.

The reality TV show, which typically sees 15 up-and-coming and aspiring chefs from across America compete for the title of “America’s Top Chef,” has announced that its new iteration will be a “World All-Stars” series.

Filming will begin this month in London and the season will feature 16 contestants from across The best chefs 29 international releases.

The contestants will be made up of winners and runners-up from previous seasons and will be announced in January 2023, ahead of its premiere.

Bravo announced that host Padma Lakshmi and judges Tom Colicchio and Gail Simmons “will be joined by distinguished judges from the international releases, as well as esteemed global culinary experts.”

“We always wanted to do a season of Excellent chef with winners, runners-up and favorites, but taking this concept for the 20th season one step further with localized version chief testers around the world has been a dream come true,” said Ryan Flynn, senior vice president, current production, NBCUniversal Television and Streaming.

“And what better place to host World All-Stars than London, a global hotspot and acclaimed foodie city, offering our chef testers access to the UK’s exceptional ingredients and international flavors.”
